RANTINGS(repost scavenger)

We've assumed as children that as we get older things would be easier. We all know that is a fairy tale. We go through childhood thinking growing up is what we've always wanted. Its natural to assume such things.This is how the world works. It raises your expectations and fill you with hope...and time and time again life shatters them. Disappointments abound on every corner of our growing years. We realize we are not special, we are not unique, and most especially we are not invincible. The only difference now is we are less ignorant of the realities of our world. Accepting it is a whole different matter.
We've been through the phases, angst, anger and the ever present spiraling into depression. Then we recover. Then the cycle repeats itself once again.It is a scary tought that we do not even realize that weve been through the same things over and over again, just different situations and/or different faces. Life always has a way of getting to you be it the circumstances you are in. Even your own physiology seemingly betrays you.

Sadly this so called cycle is part of our growth, or rather part of what it is to be human. We were born with minds that go beyond the borders of what is necessary for existence and this is the price we pay.
